Dr. Maureen White has over 16 years of educational experience as a classroom teacher and professor of graduate studies in Illinois as well as Director of Curriculum for Dolton West School District #148. Dr. White played a primary role in collaboratively developing, mapping, aligning and implementing curriculum and additionally coordinated and evaluated district curricula and instructional programs for modification or replacement based on performance data.

Dr. White served as the District Induction /Mentor Coordinator where she transformed the district’s existing Teacher Support Program by writing a state-approved 2-year Mentor Program. Dr. White was the Assistant Director of Special Education where she served as the liaison between alternative schools and district schools, and Coordinator for bilingual and homeless programs.

Dr. White is an expert on Common Core State Standards. She has helped schools & districts throughout Chicagoland align their instruction into the standards, be assessment literate, and be able to accurately report student progress toward meeting these new standards.

Dr. White is a dynamic presenter who translates educational theory into instructional practice through engaging cooperative activities teachers can use in their classrooms.
